STRAW POLL RESULTS

A straw poll was taken at the candidate forum on Wednesday, March 16th. There were approx. 150 people in attendance. The following candidates choose NOT attend the forum: Richard Skorman, Merv Bennett, Tim Leigh, Dawn Lloyd, Jan Martin, Bill Murray, Val Snider & Michael Merrifield.

Thanks to everyone who attended the event. This is a scientifically unscientific poll.

CANDIDATE FORUM

Come join the Mayoral and City Council Candidates Wednesday March 16th, as they share their vision for Colorado Springs. The Candidates will be asked to expand on answers to various questions asked on the Candidates Questionnaire sent earlier this month. The event will be moderated by Colorado Springs very own, KRDO News Channel 13 anchor, Eric Singer.

Ballots for the April 5th, 2011 Municipal Election will be mailed out from March 11th to 21st to all eligible, active voters within Colorado Springs City Limits. All ballots must be returned by 7pm on April 5th, 2011 to be counted. If you are an eligible voter and do not receive a ballot in the mail by March 25th you may pick up  a ballot at the City Clerk’s Office, 30 S. Nevada Ave, Suite 101, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.
